English ASH 'Gears' - Original & Unique Tree Ring Art Print Monochrome
FREE SHIPPING TO UK
An original artwork of a cross section of an English Ash, from a fallen tree in Worcs, UK
This unusual and striking image is an exact reflection of what that log looks like at the point it was cut - to me it looks like a gearbox! The reason there are four centres is that it was cut just at the point where three new bracnhes were forming inside the trunk that had not yet appeared outside.
Available signed and numbered out of a limited artists edition of 40 printed in black ink on white paper. Each version is quite different as the amount of ink, pressure and paper orientation varies with each copy as they are individually handprinted.
Printed using sustainable inks and archival Japanese paper at size 50cm x 50cm. Supplied as either a bare print rolled up in a protective tube or in an attractive black frame 50 x 50cm.
This woodblock can also be printed in many other colours - just ask me.
As my work is handprinted to order it may take around a week to reach you after ordering.
Available as a bare print or in attractive black frame.
Looks fantastic grouped with a couple of the other 50cm designs - seen here with 2 other 50cm ASH prints
Framed version only available to UK customers, otherwise bare print in a postal tube can be shipped anywhere.
