t-shirts

Every T-shirt is printed to order which means there are no overstocks or waste as the only garments that are made are those that are ordered.

The T=shirts we source are made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton from India provided by the Belgian company Stanley/Stella which specialises in premium sustainable clothing.  You can view a full sustainability report from the company here

The inks used to print the T-shirts are water-based NeoPigment™ inks which are absolutely free of heavy metals, formaldehyde and Alkylphenol Ethoxylates (APE), making them non-hazardous, non-toxic and biodeg­ra­dable.

Washing instructions are indicated on the label of each product - we recommend washing at 30°C and line-dried (i.e. not in a tumble drier). As well as helping to protect the environment, following these care instructions will help to ensure the longest life possible for your products

TREE PRINTS

No trees are felled by us to make any prints. What we do is to use wood from trees that have been cut down by others as they are dangerous, diseased or felled for some other essential reason. We then re-purpose a slice of log in order to celebrate the hidden beauty within.

The paper used to make the tree prints is made from renewable plant sources by famous Awagami Mill in Japan.

The oil based inks are made in the UK. According to the Safety Data Sheet ‘the product does not present hazards for humans or the environment’.
